The EmpowHER Method

HI! My name is Melanie and I am the creator of The EmpowHER Method, a program for women in their 30+ who want to build confidence, strength and community while getting into the best shape of their lives.

  • The EmpowHER Method is a small group fitness model designed to help women in their 30s and 40s realize their true potential through building confidence in themselves while surrounded by a community of women who have similar goals and lifestyles.

  • Compassionate Accountability is now within reach. Not only will I be by your side during this process but a whole community of other women cheering you on and supporting you are there too.

  • Working out should feel fun and exciting, and inside The EmpowHER Method are the tools to achieve these goals.

  • Creating sustainability and a healthy mindset around exercise that translates into a healthy mindset in your life outside of the gym.

I am extremely passionate about creating and supporting exciting wellness environments for women in their 30s and 40s.

We are told as women that as we age, we get weaker, slower, experience more aches and pains, but this it not true! With my knowledge and passion we have changed this narrative and proven that as women in our 30s and 40s we can be in the best shape of our lives.

Strength Training

Why Strength Training?

Strength Training is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle, providing numerous benefits for your body, including increased muscle mass and strength, improved bone density and joint health, reduced risk of injury, and disease prevention. Through Strength Training, you can add resistance to help build a strong and healthy heart, and ultimately increase your longevity. Whether your goal is to see more muscle definition or you just want to feel more confident putting your luggage in that overhead bin, Strength Training can help you reach your goals and make sure that as you age that you are able to keep doing what you want do.

Mobility and Movement

FOR LIFE!

Mobility Training is the key to unlocking your body’s full potential. With my guidance and coaching I will help you improve your range of motion and flexibility, so that you can move with greater ease and efficiency. Having full range of motion can help us decrease the chance of injury and when we move better, we can be more effective in building strength and confidence in our lifting.

Endurance and Conditioning

Strength, resilience, and improved mental health

When you work with me we will build on your endurance and conditioning style training. I believe that exercise should be an enjoyable experience that helps you reach your goals and improve your quality of life. With my personalized approach, I can help you build mental strength, improve cognitive skills, and boost your metabolism. No matter what your training goals are, whether it’s feeling better walking around a theme park with your kids or running your first 5K, I am here to help you reach them.

Massive Confidence

Why is this so important and how it can be built in the gym?

Building confidence it a practice; When I first stepped into a gym I was TERRIFIED. I was afraid people would look at me and assume I didn't know what I was doing (I didn't) and that I would feel incompetent and end up leaving (which many times I did). The confidence you build in the gym is confidence in yourself that you are capable (and a lot stronger than you think) and a confidence that carries on far past the gym and into your day to day life, your relationships, and your work. Being a confindent human changed my life and it will change yours.
